Is God calling you to preach?

• Some of you have shared a meditation or reflection in front of the congregation. You've shown that God has given you the gifts to help people hear God's Word for them!

• Preaching, like all callings and gifts from God, can be strengthened through practice and community discussion.

• Consider joining the preaching discussion group Sunday (Oct. 26) at 3pm in Room 9 to talk about the task of preaching, look at some Bible readings for the weeks ahead, pray for guidance and brainstorm ideas for communicating God's Law and Gospel to our congregations.

• A goal: St John's will have at least one of you each month preach at one service (not all three on a weekend) and then reflect on it in the group.
