Lent begins with a quiet, holy invitation—an invitation to pause, to remember who we are, and to place our hope once again in Christ. On Ash Wednesday, February 18, we invite you to worship with us as we enter this sacred season together. We will provide services featuring Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes at 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm , available both in the sanctuary and online , allowing you to participate in the manner that best suits your schedule. What is Shrove Tuesday? The simple answer is—the day before Ash Wednesday. It is sometimes called—Fat Tuesday, Pancake Tuesday, or Mardi Gras. Why eat Pancakes? Chili and Basket Raffle on Sat., Feb. 14, 3-5 pm
St. John’s chili supper and basket raffle will be on Saturday, February 14th from 3-5 p.m. and we need your help. The Fellowship Committee collected a variety of baskets of differing sizes. If you have any baskets you want to donate, please drop them off either on the Narthex table or at the church office. Next, we need your help in filling the baskets.
