Arizona Humane Society Healthy Tails Mobile Clinic

Our pet care ministry addresses a significant barrier to accessing services for homeless individuals, ensuring that the human-animal bond doesn't force impossible choices between shelter and companionship. Through monthly partnerships with Arizona Humane Society's Mobile Clinic and Companion Pets in Crisis, we provide free veterinary care, pet supplies, and connections to pet-friendly shelters for approximately 25-30 pet owners monthly. This program recognizes that pets often provide crucial emotional support and security for vulnerable populations, and by caring for these animals, we enable their owners to access housing and services they might otherwise avoid.
