Lent begins with a quiet, holy invitation—an invitation to pause, to remember who we are, and to place our hope once again in Christ. On Ash Wednesday, February 18, we invite you to worship with us as we enter this sacred season together.
We will offer services with Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes at 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm, both in the sanctuary and online, so you can join us in the way that best fits your day.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season set aside for reflection, repentance, and renewal. It is a time to be honest about our need for a Savior and to open our hearts to God’s transforming grace. During the service, we receive ashes on our foreheads as a visible sign of our mortality and our sinfulness—remembering that “we are dust, and to dust we shall return.” Yet the ashes also point us toward hope: trust in the One who died and was raised for our forgiveness and new life.
As we gather around the Lord’s Table, we are reminded that we do not walk this journey alone. Christ meets us with mercy, nourishes us with grace, and leads us forward in hope.
Whether you come at midday or in the evening, in person or online, we would be honored to worship with you. Join us on February 18 as we begin the season of Lent together—grounded in reflection, shaped by repentance, and sustained by hope in Christ.
