Chili and Basket Raffle on Sat., Feb. 14, 3-5 pm

St. John’s chili supper and basket raffle will be on Saturday, February 14th from 3-5 p.m. and we need your help.  The Fellowship Committee collected a variety of baskets of differing sizes. If you have any baskets you want to donate, please drop them off either on the Narthex table or at the church office.

Next, we need your help in filling the baskets.  On Sunday, January 11th  a table of baskets was placed in the Narthex and office area. The Fellowship Committee is asking for donations of filled baskets. Please choose one (or more) of the baskets, decide on a theme and fill it with items for the theme. So that can anticipate how many baskets will be at the raffle, if you are making a basket please put your name on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex or text Ann Steinhoff at 575-642-2439.

The filled baskets can be brought to the church beginning Saturday, January 31st  through Thursday, February 12th.  That gives us time to wrap the baskets in cellophane prior to our raffle. 

Lastly, a chili supper needs food! We need a few pots of chili or other types of soups – and desserts would be nice to have as well. If you can help with that, please put your name on the sign-up sheet which is on the Narthex table.

Tickets for the basket raffle are 2 for $1.00 and will be sold at the event.  Donations will go toward camp scholarships for our children and youth.
