Soup Suppers Are Here for Lent 🍲
Lent offers a period for contemplation, community, and a collective journey, and we embrace this by coming together around the table.
Every Wednesday during Lent, we gather for our Soup Suppers from 5–6 pm in the Chapel Area.
We will share simple meals, partake in meaningful discussions, and enjoy each other's company as we ready our hearts for Easter.
Note: The Bell Choir will eat first and then proceed to practice.
Could You Bring Soup or Bread?
We are inviting members and friends to bring soup or bread for these gatherings.
Needed items:
Soups that can serve 8–12 people
Bread to accompany the meal
Kindly deliver food by 4:45 pm
In line with our Lenten journey, we are keeping it simple—no desserts. Coffee, tea, bowls, spoons, and cups/mugs will be provided.
We Also Need Helping Hands
Helping with clean-up is just as important as cooking the meal! Your assistance before or after dinner would be highly valued.
👉 Please sign up on the sheet located on the table in the Narthex.
Although sharing soup may seem minor, gathering around the table strengthens our community and reminds us that we are experiencing this Lenten season together.
We are grateful for your role in making these evenings warm, welcoming, and fulfilling in every way.
