Jesus calls each of us not only to believe, but to serve. At St. John’s, we believe that every person has a role to play in the life and ministry of the church—and we need your gifts!

We’re currently looking for helping hands and willing hearts to step into various roles in both worship and ministry support. Whether you enjoy being up front or behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to make a real difference.

🙌 Worship Assistants

Help create a welcoming and meaningful worship experience:

• Ushers – Greet worshipers, assist with seating, and help facilitate the service

• Readers – Share God’s Word during worship by reading Scripture aloud

• Altar Care – Prepare the altar and communion elements with reverence and love

  
  

💒 Ministry Assistants

Support the ongoing care and ministry of our congregation:

• Mail out Grief Books – Offer comfort and encouragement to those who are grieving

• Mail out Cradle Roll Materials – Share faith resources with families of young children

• Assist with Columbarium Niche Purchases – Help families with end-of-life planning

• Serve on the Endowment Committee – Steward financial gifts to support our mission

• Serve on the Memorial Committee – Honor the memory of loved ones with care
