Nestled in the beautiful forests of Prescott, Arizona, Camp ALOMA offers an unforgettable summer camp experience rooted in faith, community, and outdoor adventure. As Arizona’s Lutheran camp, ALOMA provides a welcoming space where kids, teens, and even adults can grow, explore, and build meaningful connections.


🌲 A Summer Full of Adventure

From the moment campers arrive, they’re immersed in a wide range of exciting activities designed to challenge, inspire, and connect them with others. Each day brings new opportunities for fun and growth, including:

  • Bible study and faith-building discussions

  • Archery and sling shot

  • Canoeing on scenic waters

  • Hiking through nature trails

  • Creative crafting sessions

  • Laser tag and group games

  • Campfire gatherings under the stars

  • And so much more


Whether it’s trying something new or deepening friendships, there’s something for everyone at Camp ALOMA.


đź“… Camp Dates & Cost

Camp runs from May 31st through July 12th, with multiple sessions available throughout the summer.

Cost: $375 per camper


🎒 Programs by Grade Level

Camp ALOMA offers age-appropriate experiences so every camper feels included and challenged:

  • Mini Camp: 1st–3rd grade

  • Explorers: 3rd–4th grade

  • Pioneers: 5th–6th grade

  • Junior High: 7th–9th grade

  • JS Training: 9th–11th grade


Each program is designed to support personal growth, faith development, and lasting friendships.


🙌 Get Involved: Opportunities for All Ages

Camp ALOMA isn’t just for campers—it’s a thriving, year-round community with many ways to get involved.


Summer Staff (18+)

  • Male & female counselors

  • Kitchen staff

  • Support staff


High School Students

  • Volunteer and train as Junior Servants

  • Build leadership skills and serve others


ALOMA Is Also for Adults!

Adults can be part of the mission in meaningful ways:

  • Serve at the retreat center or volunteer in various roles

  • Help as a weekly camp nurse or camp pastor

  • Support year-round groups through kitchen and cleaning teams

  • Join work weekends (next one: May 14–16) to help maintain and improve camp


Leadership Opportunities

Serve as a board member

  • Participate in 4 meetings in Phoenix or via Zoom

  • Attend 2 on-site meetings at camp (January and July)

  • Engage in active subcommittees that shape the future of ALOMA
