Plan to Attend Our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sun., Jan. 4, 2026

As we approach the start of a new year, we also come to an important moment in the life of our church community: our Annual Congregational Meeting. This year’s meeting will take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 9:45 am, in the Sanctuary and Online.

This gathering is more than a procedural necessity—it’s an opportunity for all of us to participate in the shared ministry of St. John’s, discern our path forward, and celebrate the work God is doing among us.

What to Expect at the Meeting

✔ Review and Vote on the 2026 Proposed Budget

Annually, our budget embodies our values, mission, and the ministries we pledge to support. Your input is crucial in shaping these priorities. You can obtain your copy of the proposed 2026 budget in the narthex, at the church office, or by clicking here. Please read it beforehand to be prepared for discussion and voting.

✔ Electing Delegates to the 2026 Synod Assembly

We will also select representatives to attend the Synod Assembly in Mesa this June. This is a great chance to engage with the wider church, participate in meaningful discussions, and represent St. John’s at the synod level. If you feel called to this type of service, we encourage you to prayerfully consider submitting your name.

Why Your Participation Matters

Our yearly gathering provides an opportunity for each member to engage in stewardship—not just regarding finances, but also concerning our mission, relationships, and collective future. Whether you participate in person in the sanctuary or online, your insights, your vote, and your presence are greatly appreciated.
