Special Congregational Meeting on Sept. 20, at 9:45 am

We invite you to attend a Special Congregational Meeting on Sunday, September 20, at 9:45 a.m. This meeting will be held both in the Worship Center and on Zoom, ensuring everyone can participate.

The Council has convened this special meeting to discuss two significant issues for our congregation:

1. Resurfacing the flat roofs: The congregation will deliberate on resurfacing the flat roofs at a cost not to exceed $20,000, with the work to be carried out by KYKO Roofing.

2. Appointing an Outreach Coordinator: The congregation will consider appointing Wendy Schulz as our half-time Outreach Coordinator (20 hours per week). This would require adjusting the 2026 budget to include an annual salary of $26,000, along with 40 hours of vacation time and 40 hours of paid time off annually.

These decisions are crucial for the ongoing ministry and stewardship of our congregation. We encourage everyone to learn more, ask questions, and thoughtfully consider these matters before the meeting.
