We are excited to announce that Kristen Chuenchum, the Project Co-Leader of Saan Jai Rak in Thailand and one of our cherished missionary partners, will be visiting St. John's on Thursday, October 30 at 10:00 am!
Kristen has been a dedicated servant on the frontlines of ministry to vulnerable children and families in Northern Thailand, and our church has had the honor of partnering with her since the inception of Saan Jai Rak (SJR). Over the years, we've witnessed God working through this ministry in powerful ways—and now we have the chance to hear directly from Kristen about the amazing things He’s doing today.
“You've been with us since the very beginning – one of our founding churches – and that foundation you helped lay continues to bear fruit in ways that I am continually grateful for.”— Kristen
What to Expect
Kristen will provide updates on:
How SJR is assisting more families than ever before, exceeding their initial expectations.
Their forthcoming End-of-Year Campaign aimed at securing ten new family sponsors for 2026.
New ministry tools, including:
A 25-day prayer card deck for Advent, focusing on vulnerable children and their families.
A reflective Holy Week devotional booklet derived from their email series.
The transformative experience of hosting a short-term mission team—and the beautiful reminder that this work is part of a much larger story, one in which we all play a role.
“Just as Christ transforms us from orphans to sons and daughters, SJR's calling is to transform orphaned children back to sonhood and daughterhood within their biological families. It's the heart of the Gospel lived out in the most tangible way.”— Kristen

Welcome Kristen!
Join us on Thursday, October 30 at 10:00 am to listen to Kristen, reconnect with her personally, and be inspired by the work God is doing through Saan Jai Rak. Whether you're a longtime supporter or simply curious about international missions, this event will be a moment of encouragement, vision, and gratitude.
Let's extend our love and support to Kristen from her St. John’s family and celebrate the enduring, fruitful partnership that continues to impact the world.
“Thank you for being part of something that's so much bigger than any of us could have imagined.”— Kristen
