There’s something special about gathering together during the Advent season—warm kitchens, the scent of fresh-baked cookies, and the joy of giving to others. This year, we’re excited to continue one of St. John’s most cherished traditions, and we hope you will be part of it!
On Saturday, December 13 at 10:30 am in the Chapel, the Caring Committee and the women of St. John’s will host our annual Cookie Packing for the Home Bound. It’s a simple act of kindness that brings immeasurable joy to those who are unable to join us in person during the holidays.
If you love to bake, this is your moment to shine!
We invite all cookie bakers to bring homemade treats packaged in Ziplock bags with 2–3 cookies per bag. Whether you prefer chocolate chip, gingerbread, or a treasured family recipe, your contributions make this ministry possible.
As always, we’ll share cookies and coffee together while enjoying the traditional Christmas story, lovingly read by Elinor—a highlight many look forward to each year. Then, with good conversation and generous hearts, we’ll pack up the treats that will soon brighten someone’s day.
This event is more than cookie packing—it's fellowship, connection, and the warmth of the season shared among friends.
All women of the church are warmly invited! Come as you are, bring a friend, and help us spread Christmas cheer one cookie bag at a time.
We can’t wait to see you there!
