Sweet Traditions & Warm Fellowship: Join Us for Cookie Packing on Dec. 13!

There's something truly special about gathering during the Advent season—cozy kitchens, the aroma of freshly baked cookies, and the joy of giving to others. This year, we're thrilled to continue one of St. John’s most beloved traditions, and we hope you will join us!

On Saturday, December 13 at 10:30 am, in the Chapel, the Caring Committee and the women of St. John’s will host our annual Cookie Packing for the Home Bound. This simple act of kindness brings immense joy to those who can't be with us in person during the holidays.

If baking is your passion, this is your chance to shine!

We invite all cookie bakers to bring homemade treats packaged in Ziplock bags with 2–3 cookies per bag. Whether you love chocolate chip, gingerbread, or a cherished family recipe, your contributions make this ministry possible.

As always, we'll enjoy cookies and coffee together while listening to the traditional Christmas story, lovingly read by Elinor—a highlight many anticipate each year. Then, with great conversation and generous hearts, we'll pack the treats that will soon brighten someone's day.

This event is more than just cookie packing—it's about fellowship, connection, and sharing the warmth of the season among friends.

All women of the church are warmly invited! Come as you are, bring a friend, and help us spread Christmas cheer one cookie bag at a time.

We can't wait to see you there!
