This past weekend at Galaxy VBS, we imagined ourselves among the stars, embarking on an exciting space mission filled with faith, fun, learning, and fellowship. As we gathered together, one thing became abundantly clear: while we spent the weekend exploring the stars, we were already surrounded by them.
A successful space mission depends on an incredible crew, and Galaxy VBS was blessed with an outstanding team of volunteers who made every moment possible. Their dedication, creativity, energy, and love for our children helped create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our Crew Leaders:
From St. John’s: Val, Isabel, Monique, and Ann
From Vida Nueva: Cristy
From Emmanuel Sudanese: Peter
We are also grateful for the many Crew Assistants who faithfully supported our leaders throughout the weekend.
Our Rotational Leaders brought the adventure to life in so many ways:
Bible Adventures: Jaye and Nancy
Galaxy Games: Hanalei, Holly, and Pat
Special Projects: Pam and Doris
A special thank you goes to Jean and her crew, who kept everyone well-fed and energized throughout the weekend.
Our worship and mission sessions were filled with joy and excitement thanks to Mike and Janet , who led our music and opening and closing gatherings.
We are grateful to Coreen for capturing wonderful memories as our photographer and to Gene for ensuring everything sounded great as our sound engineer.
We would also like to recognize our VBS Directors, Tammy and Ann, whose leadership, planning, and countless hours of preparation made Galaxy VBS a tremendous success.
And finally, a very special thank you to Pastor Peter. Behind every successful ministry is the power of prayer, and Pastor Peter faithfully supported our entire VBS mission through his prayers, encouragement, and guidance.
To every volunteer who gave your time, talents, and heart to Galaxy VBS: thank you. You helped our children grow in faith, build friendships, and experience God's love in a fun and meaningful way. We may have spent the weekend imagining life among the stars, but the real stars of Galaxy VBS were all of you.
Thank you for making this mission one to remember!
