As the Advent season draws us closer to Christmas, we invite you to pause, gather, and step into a tradition filled with warmth, hope, and community. On Saturday, December 13,
at 6 pm, we will come together to celebrate La Posada, a beautiful and beloved observance that brings the story of the Holy Family to life.
La Posada—Spanish for “the inn”—is a heartfelt reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s journey as they sought shelter on the night Christ was born. Through song, procession, and shared reflection, we retrace their steps, opening our hearts as we symbolically open the door to welcome the Christ Child.
Whether this tradition is familiar to you or brand new, La Posada offers a gentle, joyful way to enter the spirit of the season. The glow of candles, the voices raised in song, and the shared sense of anticipation remind us of the hope that came into the world that night—and the hope we continue to carry together.
