Lent is a sacred time for renewal—an invaluable opportunity to return to the practice of prayer, engage in deep reflection on God's boundless grace, and open our hearts to the myriad needs of the world around us. It is a season that invites us to pause amidst our busy lives and consider our spiritual journey. We warmly invite you to join us for Worship this Lent on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, where we will come together as a community to deepen our faith and commitment.

During these worship sessions, you can participate with us either in the sanctuary or online, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to connect with God and one another. This Lent, our focus will be centered around the prayer: “Let All Be Fed.” This powerful phrase encapsulates our mission to care for those in need and serves as a reminder of our responsibility to act in love and compassion.

Throughout the Lenten season, members of St. John’s will share their personal insights and testimonies on how God nourishes the world—both spiritually and physically. These reflections will not only highlight individual experiences but will also foster a communal understanding of the importance of trusting in God’s provision. Together, we will explore what it truly means to engage in God’s work of nourishing both the body and the soul, recognizing that our actions can be a reflection of divine love in the world.

We invite you to join us for a peaceful break in the middle of your week. This is a time to come together to pray, to listen, and to be renewed in spirit. Whether you are seeking solace, inspiration, or a chance to connect with others, our Lenten worship services offer a welcoming space for all.

As we journey toward the cross and prepare for the promise of Easter, let us take this time to rediscover how God sustains us in our daily lives. May we also reflect on how we are called to ensure that “let all be fed” becomes not just a prayer, but a mission we actively pursue in our communities and beyond. Together, let us commit to being vessels of God’s grace, sharing His love and provision with those who are hungry, both physically and spiritually.
